Information We Collect:
When we need to collect personally identifiable information from you to provide you with a particular service, we ask you to voluntarily supply us with the information. For example, if you would like to receive specific information regarding ER-One, we will ask you for information such as name, organization, telephone number and email address on a registration form. The personally identifiable information you provide us is made available to ER-One for the purpose of meeting your information request. In no way does the Site require a visitor to complete registration information. However, failure to complete this information may result in your inability to obtain the requested information.
The Site uses web analytic software to collect “non-personal information.” This is information about you that does not identify you personally. Examples of non-personal information include Internet Service Provider, Internet Protocol (IP) address, how you arrived on the Site, pages visited and time spent on the Site. This information enables us to explore browsing patterns to learn more about our visitor’s activities and preferences, ultimately improving the visitor’s experience.
The Site also makes use of “cookie technology.” A “cookie” is a small text file on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies enable a company to track activity and preferences of visitors to the website. You have the option to delete cookies in the event that a cookie is placed on your computer. You also have the option of changing settings in your browser to block cookie placement on your computer. Please note that blocking cookies may limit functionality or require input of redundant information into the Site.
Why We Collect Information
ER-One collects information for three reasons. The first is to make your user experience more beneficial. Items like cookies allow us to minimize the number of times you enter redundant information into the Site. The second reason is to assist in the design and improvement of the Site. By monitoring trends in web traffic, we can identify which pages are most beneficial, which pages may not be useful and how to re-design the Site to improve navigation. Finally, collected information may provide value as we market our products. The completion of a registration page, for example, may result in a follow-up communication to see if there is further interest in receiving information or making a purchase. ER-One reserves the right to make follow-up contact with you in the form of written, electronic or telephone communications as a means of informing you about our products and services.
How We Secure and Store Your Personal Information
