We seek ways to integrate our processes with those of the hospitals we service. For example:

• ER-One contracts frequently contain incentives regarding our ability to raise core measures and customer satisfaction. In these situations, everyone is a winner. Patients benefit from improved care. The hospital benefits from higher peer group rankings and increases in referral visits. ER-One benefits by our association with hospitals that are recognized as healthcare leaders.
• ER-One frequently works with our hospital administration partners on issues relating to medical billing. By sharing data and balancing our visit counts with the hospital, both groups benefit by processing insurance claims more quickly and with greater accuracy.
• ER-One has unique expertise in the area of process improvement (you can read more about this in our section on Operational Excellence). We supply these resources to supplement hospital expertise on quality improvement projects. For example, if the hospital desires to improve a core measure relating to delivery of care, ER-One can deploy quality process experts to analyze root cause and implement improvement.
